Community Support + Grounding Circle
Saturday, Feb 7th at 1:00 PM | No Cost
Location: 3200 W. Rte 66, Flagstaff AZ, 86001 (City of Flagstaff Public Works Building, Conference Room)
Our Flagstaff community has experienced a tragic, shocking event with Thursday night’s events. You might be experiencing some after effects in your nervous system. This can show up as anxiety, feeling on edge, jumpiness, difficulty sleeping, irritability, numbness, heaviness, or any number of symptoms. If this resonates, it is important to know that regardless of your connection to the event, what you’re experiencing is valid and real and worthy of support.
Join us Saturday 2/7 at 1pm for a trauma-informed community support circle to offer space for grounding and shared processing. You won’t be asked to relive or retell anything you don’t want to and there is bravery in just showing up. Terros Crisis Services will be on-site for anyone desiring 1:1 support and this is a no-cost event thanks to both City of Flagstaff and Terros.
From 12-1pm, the Flagstaff Police Chief will be holding a community debriefing and open Q&A for the community. You can attend as little or as much as feels comfortable for you. At 1pm, we will shift to our community support circle. During and after, Terros’ crisis team is available for anyone needing to talk further.
What To Expect:
• Simple grounding and nervous-system regulation practices
• Optional reflection and sharing (listening is participation)
• A calm, supportive space centered on safety and choice
• Language that’s human, accessible, and pressure-free
This space is for anyone who feels impacted - emotionally, physically, or energetically - whether that impact feels big or subtle.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
Let’s gather and support each other.
